To all registered Connecticut Club DSM members!

As you may have noticed the forum went down yesterday. This was due to some editing of the server setup. The site should be good to go now.

Over the past year we have had the privilege of operating free of charge through Victor Research. I would personally like to thank Victor Research for providing everyone with free hosting and allowing us to take up some web space. That being said over the next couple weeks a plan to move to our own hosting company will be under way. This will prevent the site from crashing periodically. Some of you who were around last summer may remember the site being down on very hot days due to server failure. We are hoping to eliminate this going further.

Over the next week I will be setting up a donation button that will be posted on the main portal when you first log on to CCDSM. We will be accepting donations to keep CCDSM up and running and to cover the cost of our domain, hosting, etc. The money will not be used to buy parts but strictly for the website and club.

It would be really awesome to raise enough donations to upgrade our forum software to something more modern like Invisions much like you see some of the higher traffic sites like DSMTuners and DSMTalk using.

The season is just getting underway and I look forward to a very successful 2005 season. Hope to see you all out this season whether it be running your car at this years drag day events or just hanging out at one of our monthly meets.

Thank you and happy modding.
