All Registered CCDSM member Bulletin- Important you READ!

To all registered CCDSM members:

Over the last three weeks Connecticut Club DSM has seen a plethora of new members. We have also seen an increase in what seems to be "trolls" on the forum who are around for one purpose and one purpose only and that is to start smack with various members of the forum. CCDSM was brought back over a year ago to bring those with the same car (DSM's) as well as those interested in them together again to meet each other and to have fun in a hobby that is at its peak. It was not brought back for people to make personal attacks, threats, fight, etc etc. The nonsense ends today.

Beginning today, May 2nd anyone who has less then 10 posts or newly registered and has not introduced themselves in the newly created "New Member introductions forum" and makes a post whether it be a trader ad, a one word reply, a smile, a smack talk thread, etc etc will be removed from the site. Also please keep in mind, Connecticut Club DSM is a FREE club and forum. This means that you can do so as you please however if you do not like the way things are run here then you are free to leave.

The site has administrators and moderators for a reason. It is there job to determine what is suitable and reasonable for a friendly fun car performance based club. There are dozens of other forums out there where you can go looking to start trouble, do not bring it here. The club base here is awesome. MOST of the members get along and we always have a tremendous showing at events and meets and everyone has a good time. Lets work on not having that ruined by immaturity and "drama".

If you have a problem with a specific person on this site, please handle it directly with them, whether it be via email, private message, or in person but please do not bring down the forum because of your personal issues. As a reminder the Kills/Smack Talk hidden forum is for friendly smack talk amongst the club members. Most between those who know each other. Access will not be granted if you are not a regular member who comes out and participates in club activities. (Meets, shows, track rentals, etc.)

The 2005 racing season is young. The first track rental will be on June 3, 2005. Sign up. Keep the smack talk on the track. This hobby is suppose to be fun, that is what it is all about. Run each other, have fun and put the internet tough guy stuff to rest.
