i didnt set the edit perameters of the forum. that would be a kev thing

Edit wasnt removed. You can edit up to 30 minutes after posting. No need for edit in trader. Not only does it give you a free bump but it lets the last post stay current.

So if somebody has something for sale and wants to add a price or more items i have to read through the whole entire post? If your going to add an item or change a price it's gonna get bumped anyways!!!

i too want it back. i know for one i read the first post of a trader thread, and i'm 100% more likely to make another thread than to try to update my fs thread 17 posts down on page 3. i'd love to be able to edit my trader thread in the very first post (just as our moderator chris can do to his own, which he did for the very same reason i'd like to mod mine.

As I have stated previously, it would make it easier/better to check on any changes to the original post if the edit option was always there. Without it, it is much more difficult to find out what has been sold, added or sold and put back on (which does seem to happen "on occasion").

Edit was way abused on this site. People going back through their posts editing everything out. Got extremly annoying. I will try to see if I can get the edit back in the trader when I have some time to browse through the admin panel.
