Drag Day 2006- The DVD (Trailer anyway)

Big thanks to Tom Keyes for video taping at our drag day event a couple weeks ago. He has compiled a nice DVD of everyone who raced at the event. Hes still finalizing some things and will be releasing the video on DVD in early September.

He said its about 13 or so minutes and since were talking drag racing thats alot of footage.

For those who would like to buy a copy of drag day on dvd for the cost will be $12 mailed to your house. A small price to pay for the time an effort he spent not only at the track but editing and making the video. Ive made a few and its not easy coming up with something really good.

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to the say video that Tom made was AWESOME. It was about 15 minutes long, with AMAZING editing. The video is not a bunch of drag racing clips rolled together, I would describe the video as a mix between a short documentary and a highlight compilation. It was quality entertainment, I have literally watched it 6 or 7 times already! It has great music too. There are alot of clips of cars launching out of the whole, and some races, roughly half import/half domestic, and some bike footage. The main focus of the film sort of surrounds an "inside look" at a race team that participated at drag day, giving it a personal feel. I felt like I was watching a small clip/documentary from the "SPEED" channel.

Cliff Notes: Awesome DVD, A great commemeration/tribute to the event with a mix of racing, information, and other entertainment (with great music!), worth the 12$.
