We finally got back our .org url. It will obviously redirect to .net but now when people hit our out url they will be sent here.

Good to have it back where it belongs.

YAY it's back...

Oh and a heads up for people who like to say donation money goes into other places.... This is how much it was to buy back that name...

1 year Purchase Price = USD$60
2 year Purchase Price = USD$95
5 year Purchase Price = USD$105
10 year Purchase Price = USD$150

From what I believe kevin did the 10 year purchase which came out of his pocket! And I know some of the mods are throwing some donation money his way for it.

any thoughts on how much it would cost to get a big club photo gallery on the .org a complete web page layout with a link to the forum! I would like to help fundraise so that we can make this happen...

What do you mean? .org is going to simply redirect here. We have grown very large with the .net tag line. Only reason for the buying of .org was to help those who dont know we moved.

Thanks for the idea greg. We will be adding a photo gallery very soon to .net much like tuners has.

Oh I thought the .org was gonna be a CCDSM website and be linked to the .net messageboard. Well if the plans change let me know I can get a candy fundraiser or another fundraiser going...

Naw no way were going to update two sites. Much easier to just have it point to here.

The site was owned by someone else and they were holding on to it peeffftt
I guess the domain expired, they didnt renew and Kev had a reserve order for it!

good job Kev!

At one point I thought about buying www.thenewccdsm.org (http://www.thenewccdsm.org) and donating it to the club...
