Would anyone be interested?

This summer would anyone be interested to come up to Maine for a meet? I know its a slim chance but I could show you city dwellers how it is in Maine. This would consist of a bbq and we'd be right on a lake so we could go out swimming, there is even a pretty decent rope swing that I grew up on. If my family's boat is working right and my dad lets me put it in in the lake we'd be on we could get some tubing, skiing, and wakeboarding going.

Could also possibly go for a cruise through all these backsteets,

and you could bring a tent and spend the night. Drink some beers near a fire? I mean whatever any good ideas are worth to mention.

From Boston it is a 2 hour ride. Just running it by, not going to be anytime soon. Ill be coming down to CT for some meets this summer and we can talk about it then in person.

It be at my buddies house (the one working on the 240) I already talked to him about it and he was up for it. Hes smart with cars and could talk cars all day, knows a lot more then I do. He's 26 so would be around Kevin and Doug's age so you guys would have a lot to talk about with cars Im sure.

well, i work a lot lately. my summer vacation is usually to ohio for the shootout, but im sure id be down for a weekend thing honestly. i dont think you're going to get a lot of people on the board to come, they dont even want to come to southern ct for a meet, let alone maine. give it a shot tho. beginner's luck? :dunno

Id say youre better off not trying to make it a meet but just throw it out for whoever wants to go. Im sure youd find some people willing to make the drive.

I doubt it would be an OFFICIAL CCDSM meet but Im sure some people would be down to go just to go.

This wouldnt be a cost effective meet for most of the members here.

I like the idea just not as one of our official events.

yeah it wont be an offical ccdsm event... but you can still plan something.. I'm sure a bunch of people will be willing to go.
We're planning on a few BIG events this year as far as meets go including a HUDGE Tri-state meet along with NYCCDSM and NJDSM...

Its closer than waterville, waterville is about 50 min from where i live, so minus 50 min from your trip and thats how far.

Its called Monmouth, ME and its very close to our capital Augusta.

Alright! Its not going to be like camping in the deep woods, its in my buddies yard but his house is surronded by woods so itll be hard for anyone from the city to know the difference
