These are from DSM Tuners but have been fit for our forum. Please follow them. I wont be as strict as tuners is but use your head:
By registering on CCDSM, you agree to obey all of the following rules. Forum rules & guidelines are not up for debate. This is not a democracy, but rather a private forum. Anyone openly voicing their displeasure with the rules or how they're enforced will be removed.
No personal attacks. If you have a problem with another member's comments in a posted thread, take it offline or via private message. DO NOT respond with insulting comments that will further aggravate the situation. These kind of posts are to be reported immediately to a moderator. Reacting to a hostile post with more hostility puts YOU in jeopardy, and you risk being removed.
Post in the correct forum and research before you post a question. This site has been around a while now, and much of the basic questions and topics have already been covered here and in other DSM resources. Use the search before posting a simple question. Nobody here wants to answer the same questions over and over again.
Use descriptive thread titles. Other members should know what the thread is about before even opening the message. If it's not descriptive, it's not worth reading.
No bumping threads (replying to a topic for the sole purpose of moving it to the top of the forum).
No thread of politics or religion will be allowed. While some people may not care for religion we owe each other a little respect in this area. Also arguments involving political parties will get locked or deleted. This is still a car forum and while very laid back some things are better left undiscussed.
No posting of sexually Unless located in the Extreme Hangout (PM Kevin90GSX for access) or racially offensive content (or links).
No "post whoring", or useless conversations that can easily take place in a chat room instead. Post whoring being 10 replies that are all from you or 6 new threads that dont serve a purpose.
When linking to images (on sites like ImageStation for example), if they are larger than 800 pixels wide, please just post a link to it. Do not use the BB IMG code, use the BB URL code instead. If the moderators come across large images, they will likely replace them with the text links for faster page loads.
One account per person. If you register multiple accounts, you may be removed. If your account is banned, and you register a new account, we will automatically ban that account.
Absolutely NO shop bashing. Shop bashing is not allowed on this site simply because every business has different experiences and usually those who have bad ones tend to stretch the truth. If you have a problem with a shop its YOUR responsibility to take it up with them in person or in small claims court. You should not feel the need to drag the entire community into your business conflicts. If you have an experience with a member of the site you'd like to give feed back on please visit the Good Guy/ Bad Guy forum in the Trader area.
