ASAP would be best so that we are guarenteed this event. If everyone waits till last minute it may get called cause I wont have the for sure 50 cars.

We are allowing anyone who wants to run whatever car they have to come now. The more the merrier. :)

Im not an authoritative figure here ie. Kevin, but I would imagine that as long as we have 50 people, that you could show up at LV on the 21st and signup and pay then :)

As long as I have 50 heads signed and paid then yes however if everyone decides they want to pay when they get there the event wont happen. So Id have to say at this point we will turn people who just show up away to be fair.

We need people to pay right now. Thanks! You have 3 weeks get on it. ;)

I had spoke to Kevin about what the deal was about posting on ThePike.net.

I can say this - This is most probably the last Drag Day we will ever host (after 6 years) and Kevin will probably take over the Drag Day's as he did it once before. I have no interest or desire to do this again.

understandable... i didnt wanna step on your toes over there and post it out of pure respect. Hence why at your drag day i said we should hand out flyers. I definitly wanna see thepike.net dragday go out with a bang... unfortantly ill be there watching and not running.

Thanks Chris. Like I said I didnt plan this knowing yours would be the week before ours, I merely planned it for those people looking to run in October (Since yours was orginally scheduled for Sept) however things didnt work out and yours got moved. Im still going to yours to spectate however my car isnt complete yet so I cant race at both. :(

At any rate good luck with your future endeavors. I see you sold the car and are moving on to better things. Maybe something I will be thinking about after this season. Sometimes other things are more important then going fast in a tin can.

Thanks Kev - I've honestly never been happier. I am getting my new toy either this weekend or next, and that's it. I'm done with dumping money into cars.. I look at what I had into my car, and it made me sick.

Good luck with the car, it's always been my favorite DSM.

Wow thanks for the compliment Chris means alot.If I do end up selling Im selling everything (car, truck, and trailor) then getting a newer toy and just enjoy it. My going fast days are to coming to an end soon Im sure. I know it would make me sick if I looked at all my receipts for the car too.This hobby is just to damn expensive. lol. Cant wait to see what your new toy is, Im sure its something cool. :)

Also - The track is now under 5' of water from what I understand, I am waiting to get confirmation from the track, but if that's the case, this friday is done.. People are telling me the track is done for the rest of the year, but that was just speculation..

According to the track today - The River is behaving itself. They are spending all day on Thursday prepping the track for you guys, so you should have a good day of racing.

Just an FYI - the high for Friday is going to be 45 degrees. Dress warm ;)

Make sure you guys take some tire pressure out of your tires too. Traction is going to own you.
