It has been rescheduled to NEXT Friday October 23, 2009!

Sorry guys! I had people bitching at me about needing to rent trailers and then people bitching the weather was gonna be worse then Thursday.

Yeah I got it dude. Im not doing one at a time.

On Monday I will issue some refunds to those who have sent emails. I need to make deposits for each refund since I already had the money in hand. So running to the bank or one or two makes no sense.

You will receive your refund early next week.

Weather is expected to be cloudy with breaks of sun high of 50 deg. You guys think they will enforce the 11.50 no cage rule? Ive got some BFG drag radials Im hoping will improve my times.

Depends how far over 11.50 you are. . . if you're like 11.3-4 they probably won't say anything, but if you clock like a 10.xx they probably will tell you to leave.

It depends. It's not the same every time, and the faster you go, the more strict they are with certain safety rules.

The clean up truck made the most passes! I got 6 runs in, LOL

New best on both so it was a good day for me

I pulled in and thought everyone had left already at 11 am LOL all I saw where mustangs. Then I saw the 13.7 and 14 something stuck on the board and figured a Honda blew up. Figures. Too bad though, those three from Bridgeport that kinda killed dragday were all very quick n/a K20 swapped cars.

All in all I had a great time though. Thanks for putting it together again Kevin!

Dude the left lane was cursed today...everyone broke in the left lane. Except bullet...he was the only one that managed to break something in the right lane.

I personally believe that if you break something and leak all over the track you should not be allowed to run again...even if you fixed it.

Shit happens, people break. It's part of racing. And you can't always know you're leaking something if the car is still running/driving.
True statement, but no reason for ever having antifreeze in a full race vehicle. I could see a slight amount left over inside the block type thing, but not a 50/50 mix. As well as the other big block that was leaking all the way through the lanes (and shut down the track when he sloshed it all the way down). Gotta look for this stuff while you're in the lanes.

Broke the clamp on the upper radiator hose and "sploosh" toward the end of that run. Yeah, 11.4 @ 119.62 with a 1.8 sixty (not fond of the 60' should be at least in the 7's), sounds a litlte better today because I'm not as pissed now. Not a bad time but should have been better. I ended up forgetting to hit the switch for the water to air pump for that run. Running a bw366 on 29lbs with virtually no intercooler is not the best of ideas. I thought I smoked the headgasket, because that clamp let go toward the end of that run. I looked at it last night and it appears to be just a clamp failure.

The problem is I needed to hit 10's and this is probably my last day for the year :sadbanana

Yeah, when Dave and me raced he accidentally put it in first instead of third with his fwd Eccel with slicks lol Somehow it was fine.

That white one did awesome burnouts! All the ones from Bridgeport were driven to the track and are n/a K20 swaps. And I agree Doug, I didn't see too many Evos at drag day, world record or not, that were near these guys times. Anyone can break, like Bullet said, it's the idiots who run coolant in full blown race cars that ruin it for everyone.

Me and Stevie got it. Not sure about what to fix yet. Just got done moving all those goddamn cars I got around. Filled up the 420a turbo radiator with water to move it and I shot a geyser out of the exhaust, lol. Do you think that means anything?

I'll post up a pic or two when I can. I got no need for that carbon fiber hood though. Don't know if I'm gonna paint it or get a stocker or what.

Glad everyone had a good time. Breaking sucks but we have had a good run with very little to no stops. On a warm day those clean ups would have been alot quicker.

Hope you will all join us in the spring!!
