Connecticut Club DSM Meet- This Saturday, September 29, 2007
Churchhill Park in Newington
Hello CCDSMers!
Just a reminder that this Saturday is our Sept Meet!!
In meets past we were able to get a spot at the Churchhill Park in Newington. Thanks to Chris (Haze) and NorthEast Automachine they have held a spot for us on Saturday, September 29, 2007.
The meet will begin at 1pm and go till whenever you feel like leaving. Chances are many of us will stay up there to cruise the pike afterwards.
As the weather starts to get colder there will be very few chances to have many more outdoor meets. And this weekend looks to be awesome weatherwise.
We are hoping for this to be our biggest meet of the season. We have always had great success at this location.
Food is NOT free, please bring something such as burgers, hot dogs, buns, chips, soda, etc etc.
Please if you plan to attend put your name and what you plan to bring. If you bring nothing do not expect to eat everyone elses food. We have done this in the past and its worked great. Please dont be that person who ruins it for everyone else.
There will be basketball and volleyball. They also have tennis courts if thats your thing and you have equipment.
Also clean your cars as will be taking pictures for the banner and such.
Directions are as follows (From Pike):
Coming from Hartford-
Follow the pike till you come to CitiFinancial (Old Krispy Kreme) Take a right at that light and follow main street for 1/2 mile.. Churchhill Park will be on our left.
Coming from Berlin-
Follow the pike till you come to Bertucci's. At that light take a left onto Main Street. Follow main street for 1/2 mile. Churchhill Park will be on your left.
